THERAPIST
Sydney is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Waynesburg University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She began her professional journey in mental health at UPMC Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, which laid the foundation for her continued work in the field. Since then, she has gained experience across a range of settings, including case management, substance use counseling, and outpatient therapy.
Her approach to therapy is rooted in creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to share their experiences and work toward personal growth. She incorporates evidence-based cognitive behavioral techniques alongside mindfulness practices to support emotional well-being. Sydney believes each individual is the expert of their own life, and uses a person-centered, collaborative approach to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique goals and needs.
