Hanna Mellor, LAPC

THERAPIST

Hanna is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC). She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Penn State University and a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from Robert Morris University with a focus on working with children, adolescents, and family systems. Hanna brings diverse experience from her work in non-profit organizations, private practice, and intensive outpatient settings. Notably, she has contributed to programs such as the Matilda Theiss Therapeutic Nursery and Preschool, as well as the UPMC Pediatric Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program. Throughout her career, Hanna has supported individuals with a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, grief, and bereavement while offering specialized support to help them navigate a range of emotional and behavioral challenges.

Hanna is dedicated to fostering a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, valued, and comfortable expressing themselves. She integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, art therapy, and person-centered strategies, tailoring her methods to meet the unique needs of each individual. Committed to ongoing professional growth, Hanna actively seeks out opportunities to expand her knowledge and refine her therapeutic techniques in order to provide the most effective support for her clients and their families.
